About Liam Evans-Ford
Liam joined Theatr Clwyd in 2016 following time as Producer at both York Theatre Royal and Sheffield Crucible Theatres.
Under his leadership Theatr Clwyd has increased its turnover by £2m. It has moved away from Local Authority ownership into a charitable trust, whilst securing a long-term funding agreement with Flintshire County Council.
He has secured over £40m in public funding towards the capital redevelopment and has heightened the importance of its work in the community.
Liam is Chair of Creu Cymru, the representative body for all theatres and production companies in Wales, and sits on a number of other advisory panels including the Business Advisory Board for the North Wales growth deal.
Liam is a theatre maker – having been a successful actor, fight director and producer.
