The show must go on
When I started writing these newsletters in January 2023, the rule I set for myself was that they must be helpful, hopeful and true.
As you will know from last month’s message, I have been struggling recently to feel hopeful and helpful.

Letting go of judgement
As a creative, your taste is your North Star.
So why, at 43, have I decided to turn mine off?

3 Life-Changing Moments
I’ve had three life-altering theatrical experiences. Three moments in theatre that radically changed me.
Or did they?
Let me explain.

No one falls in love
No one falls in love.
There is no coup de foudre.
Inspiration doesn’t strike.
There are no sliding doors. No ghosts of Christmas past, present or future.
Change happens only through intention, proactivity and repetition.

Avoid the most common mistake people make when trying to deal with change
When things change we feel surprise. Confusion. Anger.

Why?

Most people think a career change is about changing what you do.
